Leaving the Chesapeake & Heading Offshore

We sailed just under 24 hours to the Bay Bridge/Tunnel in 15-20kt winds and happened to cross paths with the Pride of Baltimore in the bay. We reefed the main before sundown and left it that way all the next day. Once out in the ocean the wind increased to 20-26kts with waves to match. No chance for posting our progress! By evening on Day 2 the winds died down and we have been able to get some rest. Very calm today (Day 3) and we're enjoying it - and so is Caramel! Running the motor a bit to charge the batteries, and otherwise just having a slow sail. The highlight is haveing some dolphin friends stop by for a visit.
