We arrived in the early morning hours yesterday, June 25. What a strage sight to see land! We went to the fule dock to refill and check in with the Marina and Immigration, a process that ook a while. We were assigned a spot in the marina (thank you!) along a wall but were unable to get into it due to the wind. We went back out to anchor till the wind calmed.
The SDAF.GOV contacted us for the "Caramel paperwork and physical inspection" so we had to pull out the dinghy and inflate it to get back to the marina office at 2pm. The inspectors were lovely and the process went smoothly. Now on land - though the land seemed to us to be moving and wobbly - Caramel was happy to find a patch of real grass! We went to the local Cafe Sport for a meal and a drink, then went back to the boat to SLEEP.
It's beautiful here, and I will share more once we have had a chance to explore.
