The NRP Sagres is docked here in Ponta Delgada for a few days. We toured it today. "The NRP Sagres was built in 1937 at the Blohm & Voss shipyards (Hamburg), and was named "Albert Leo Schlageter". It was the third of a series of four ships built for the German Navy.
