Sailed offshore from Southport to Beaufort, NC. This was a 24-hour trip in mostly calmer winds until the last 4-6 hours when the wind picked up to 20+knots. An amazing starry sky through the night, a sliver of a moon early on as we sailed around Cape Fear, and mild temps were appreciated. Caramel is a trooper on these ocean passages. We're in Beaufort Docks marina for a few days. Today is windy and rainy with predicted gusts up over 50knots.
